Hey, It's me, Halie! Nice to see ya all again. I been a little bit busy so I haven't blogged for a few days. First I was computer hunting. You see, the one I am on currently has data corruptions and hardware corruptions. Ironicly I am gonna rent out my computer after I get my new one. How nutty is that? You see, I can do that because I can re-install the OS (operating system for you non-techies) I couldn't have the programming fixed normally since XP is out of date. :( So my gramps, the frugal king, tried to take me out computer shopping. His fave place is Best Buy for everything technical. However I beat the master of frugal with a bundle deal from Walmart! I basically told him, "If it can't beat this price and get me all this then it isn't worth it! It has to beat the price and power of what I see." I got my way, my new computer should be here by next monday. Hurray! It comes with a printer and a travel bag and a flash drive! :D I win! Gramps is also proud.
Now you know I am a girl. Well you see someone decided since she didn't like me to pull a nasty prank on me. She dumped water into my pad bag, lucky for me pads are wrapped in plastic! So none are ruined. It pissed me off, but didn't do much damage. Too bad I can't prove she did it. I know who did it, I just have no proof. Bummer. I am just happy she doesn't have much of a brain.
Besides that I am just getting ready for some events in the area like a yardsale and such. And experimenting on my housemates. (relax, I am just making them test the foods I make. want more than just my opinion) And such. Oh and hanging out with Tempest my hamster. She says hi. Learned she likes the smell of Cinnamon Apples today. She also has gotten into this habit of coming to greet me in the morning and evening. Kinda cute, I think she is just begging for pumpkin seeds.

Bathroom intruder and Litter everywhere
Hi! It is me, Halie! Sadly no recipe today. If you have any veggie recipes you want me to try, please message me or something, I might try them. :D
Today I got a surprise. A bathroom intruder! Same person, I live with her and a few others. She has already jumped on my case once when I came out of the bathroom, Opened the door to the bathroom while I was peeing even when someone said I was in there, and now she knocks on the door while I am peeing and proceeds to yell at me for making a mess. Lucky for me I couldn't hear most of it though the door cause I was kinda peeing. But after I got finished I came out, and she was still going on and on about me being messy. The mess she was going on about was the size of a pea. Then she threaten to throw my stuff out from the bathroom. Nightmare woman she is. and she is the one that stinks of fish and stunk up the whole house. Ugh. I wonder what is with her and her fixation of catching me with my pants down literally! I feel so violated. Like she is some sort of sexual predator. I called up my landlord for support and got lectured about cleaning too. I clean last time I checked, but not the yells at you while you are in the bathroom lady. Ugh.
Well today I was outside and it was nippy, I saw a mother and kid. they were not dressed warmly enough for the nippy morning. After telling her about the whole selling craft things. I ended up giving the kid a free hat because it was cold and I couldn't see her suffer in the cold. sure it was over sized, but still cute! The mother was grateful. I am glad I could make another happy.
Also today I picked up some trash from the local woods, It is getting lots cleaner from my visits. Lots of broken glass got picked up. Though one of my housemates was saying that I could get kicked out for picking up trash. What insanity is that? I just pick up litter, what the litter is, is just litter. I am trying to make sure things don't end up too bad in our world. kids play over there. I wish more people picked up litter. I wonder if anyone else who does it gets whined at for doing it and gets treated like they are doing the wrong thing?

Today me and my one friend, L, made some wonderful food. We were gonna make smoked eggplant, but we messed up. And in so doing we made up a new recipe which we call eggplant surprise.We took some oil and layered the bottom of the baking pan. then laid strips of eggplant in the pan. Then we tossed in diced tomatoes and threw on cheader cheese (shred). We also added basil fresh. My hands still smell like basil. then we layered the rest of the eggplant on top with some cheese and broiled in the oven for 10 minutes. It turned out great. We both devoured it so madly. Though it seems it would be better with tomato sauce of some kind and a bit more seasoning. However it was great! yay!
Also we went shopping today and bought a basil plant. It shockingly went on my food stamps. No I wasn't expecting that, food stamps covered it on it's own. crazy. But that is the second time I was surprised this month with plants going on my food stamps as earlier when I got seeds. Just thought you all would like to know about that weird surprise.

Sweets and Smells
Hello everyone! Wow, 18 people viewed my blog. I am surprised. I so didn't think anyone would even look. hahaha. That made me happy. Well today was interesting. I didn't get to pick up any litter like I wanted. Too tired. haha. However the day started with this foul smell. Turns out one of the people I am living with really needs a shower. It was so bad that I, someone who is allergic to artificial odors and can be sent to a hospital if there is too much and my reaction is severe, sprayed a nice amount of frebreeze to try to combat the smell that was so foul that I almost hurled. Reason I knew who it was, is because they share a bathroom with me. Ugh. So foul. Hopefully that person will shower soon. I won't hold my breathe that they would, but until then I will combat their smell with more natural methods.
Like I did today after the frebreeze did nothing. I went about cooking! :D I made a sweet that I am so in love with now that I want to eat it all day! I made Cinnamon Apple Parfaits! First thing is that I cut up some apples into slices. The thinner slices cook faster and are easier to tell when tender. Then I poured some brown sugar and cinnamon into a plastic bag. Place the apple slices into the bag and shake like shake and bake! Now I used a skillet but you can bake them or microwave them. A little bit of butter in the pan to start it out so they don't stick. Place the coated apple slices into the pan. and pour a little bit of water in the pan while it is on hot. Put the lid on top and the apples will cook faster. Repeat this for as many slices you have. Keep the already cooked apple slices warm by having a covering over them. Then get our your greek yogurt. (and whip topping if you are eating while the apple slices are still warm). Then in a cup put it as yogurt, apples, yogurt, apples, and then if you want put some whipped topping on top and drizzle on the cinnamon apple juices that are still in the pan. It tastes wonderful. Now veto the whipped topping if you chill the parfaits for later as they will become a bit too sweet.

All in all it was a pretty okay day. Got some work done, and even succeed with the recipe. :D I even found a new song I like. Dante's Prayer by Loreena McKennitt. New to this world
Hey, I am Halie. This is my blog. Was gonna call it Halie's world, but another Halie took that. ahaha. I currently am trying to sell hats and other creative items though Trahe Creations. Pretty cheap stuff too. 5 bucks for a cat hat? Crazy cheap! hahaha. But I wanted to open this blog because I am currently doing some new things. Like making new foods, and cleaning up litter in the community (my choice, Not anyone else's). All sorts of things. But if you don't think doing stuff is a challenge for me you should know I am allergic to mint and artificial odors like perfume and cologne, even cleaning supplies. I am also a vegetarian, but not by choice. I can't digest meat anymore and haven't touched it in over 10 years. Which annoys me since it smells so freaking good! Don't know if anyone will read this, but if you do, please just enjoy it. Thanks!
